Marianne Gailer
CKD/CBDNZ Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Designer - NZ
has been in the Interior Design industry since 1997 and has a vast amount of experience in all aspects of interiors, kitchen and bathroom design.
Auckland based and with a European background, Marianne has always greatly influenced her design suggestions and recommendations.
Initially starting with colour consultations, Marianne quickly moved on to providing her clients with a "Total Concept" for residential and commercial interiors.
In 1999, she decided to specialise on kitchen design. Amongst the many domestic kitchens she has designed for very happy clients are also commercial cafeteria projects.
Layout and space planning come naturally to her, backed up by sound knowledge and an absolute understanding of her clients requirements. Marianne's organisational and project management skills have gained her many new clients through referrals only. In her own words,
"I don't consider a job to be finished unless it has been done well, and to my clients' satisfaction - there is no room for compromise".
"My passion for kitchen and bathroom design has been inspired by Nanette Cameron, who's interior design training I attended over a 3 year period.
I am a member of the Interior Design Guild. Over the past few years I have developed a love for the complexity of kitchens. I keep constantly in touch with all the latest developments through my membership with the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association.
I attend regular product trainings, designer workshops and the annual National Kitchen Conference - knowledge is the key to good design. My passion for travel takes me to the prestigious European Kitchen Fair in Milan / Italy and DesignEx in Australia and NZ on a regular basis.
Today's technology fascinates me - to be able to work with a CAD drawing program is definitely the way of the future. Apart from the above, I am a wife and the very proud mum of 2 lovely children."
